We're making Easter egg-stra special and bringing some egg-citement to Tingley, Ardsley, Thorpe and the surrounding area
this Easter!
Our Easter Appeal
We're in need of chocolate eggs or financial donations to make it possible to deliver our programs across the community this Easter! Next time you're at the supermarket why not pick up an extra Easter Egg (or let us have the free one!) so that we can hand them out to local families that we are supporting and also hold our popular community Easter Trail!
To arrange a drop-off or collection of your donated Easter Eggs:
Make a financial donation
As well as collecting chocolate eggs and tasty Easter treats we are accepting financial donations so that we can go shopping and purchase what we need for our Easter programme of activities.

Knitted Chick Appeal
Get your needles to good work and knit (or crochet) some Easter Chicks or Bunnies for us! You can drop with one of our volunteers or we can collect from you if needed.
The Chicks and Bunnies are then stuffed with a chocolate egg and we will hand these out across our community during Easter.
Our knitters do not need to provide creme eggs! We're really grateful for the chicks and bunnies and we can ask for help from our supporters and local businesses to buy the eggs.

Join in with our free Easter Trail, find all the clues to unlock an Easter treat at the end!
Date: Saturday 30 March
Time: 11am - 3pm
Place: Tingley Ginnels (off Lowry Road)
As well as helping the families that we do, we are planning to run the popular Tingley Trail in the ginnels off Lowry Road for the third year but we need your help! If we're to follow tradition and give an Easter Egg to each child that takes part then we need help from as many people across the community as possible!

Getting Involved!
It's free to take part in our Easter Trail! Bring the kids along, get outside in the fresh air and join in with the community fun.
Share our news about the Easter Trail to your friends and across your social media.
Donating Easter Eggs or treats
A medium sized Easter Egg will cost around £1.25 from supermarkets such as Tesco, ASDA, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, etc. If you’re unsure what to get, just judge your purchases around the pricing of the eggs. To arrange a drop off or collection please call us on freephone 08008611456, send us a message on our Facebook page or e-mail us at info@wf3kindness.org. Donations are needed ASAP so that we can plan our activities accordingly.
Financial donations
We accept financial donations that will directly support our Easter appeal. The money raised will go towards buying Easter eggs for the families we support and also for local children that join in with the trail. As per previous years any Eggs remaining will be gifted to Leeds Children's Hospital, Pinderfields or other local community groups and charities.
Remember: We can only do activities like this if people support us!
The Route
The route will start from the entrance to the Ginnels off Lowry Road (opposite Poppleton Rise).
You will need to follow the trail making a note of the 'secret letter'. At the end of the trail you'll need to unscramble the letters to work out the magic password. Those that crack the code will get their chocolatey treat from the WF3 Kindness tent near Longwood Road / Lonsdale Rise.
For anyone with special dietary needs, please speak to a member of the WF3 Kindness team so that we can help!
Let us know if you plan on coming along so that we can make sure we have enough chocolatey treats for everyone!
It's also important to let us know if your child has any allergies or intolerances that we need to consider (we'd hate for anyone to miss out!)
