The Community Foundation works across the Wakefield and Five Towns district, they have strong connections, collaborating with other charities and nonprofits.
Their logo, an umbrella, symbolises the protection and support that they aim to provide. The Community Foundation strives to be Wakefield District’s safety net, ensuring everyone has equal opportunities and reducing deprivation and disadvantage.
We were honoured to win an award at the 2024 Wakefield Unsung Heroes, just one of the many programs that The Community Foundation run.
